Privacy policy
The short version: the calculators run in your browser, your figures are never sent to us, and there are no accounts to create.
| Calculator inputs sent to a server | Never |

| Accounts or sign-in | None |
| Third-party advertising | None |
| Sale of personal information | Never |
| Cookies set by this site | None required |

What happens to the numbers you type
Every calculator on this site is a program that runs inside your browser. When you enter a salary, a mortgage balance, or your children’s ages, that value stays in the page’s memory on your own device. It is used to compute the result you see and then discarded when you close or reload the page. It is not transmitted to us, stored in a database, or written to your device.
A practical consequence: refreshing the page clears your inputs, and there is no way to save a scenario or return to one later. That is a deliberate trade — we would rather not hold your financial details at all.
Information we do receive
Loading any web page necessarily reveals some technical information to the server that delivers it. Our hosting provider processes standard request data — the page requested, the time, your IP address, and your browser’s user-agent string — in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse. This is ordinary server operation rather than analytics about you, and it is not combined with anything you type into a calculator.
Fonts and external requests
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers when a page first loads. That request is subject to Google’s own privacy terms and reveals your IP address to them, as any third-party resource would. No other external service is contacted, and no analytics, advertising, tag manager, or social media script is loaded.
Cookies and local storage
This site does not set tracking cookies. Some pages use the URL — for instance the tab you are on in the registered accounts calculator — so that a link you share opens on the right view, but that is visible in the address bar rather than stored on your device.
Children
The site is intended for adults making financial decisions. Several calculators ask about children’s ages in order to estimate the Canada Child Benefit or an RESP projection. Those values are treated exactly like every other input: computed with in your browser, never transmitted, never stored.
Your rights under Canadian privacy law
PIPEDA and provincial equivalents give you the right to access, correct, and request the deletion of personal information an organisation holds about you. Because we do not collect or retain personal information from the calculators, there is generally nothing for us to produce, correct, or delete. If you have emailed us, that correspondence is the one exception — write to us and we will delete it on request.
If you contact us about a calculation error or a rate that has changed, we keep the email long enough to investigate and reply. We do not add you to a mailing list, and there is no newsletter to unsubscribe from.
Changes to this policy
If the site ever adds a feature that requires collecting or storing information — saved scenarios, for example — this page will be updated before that feature ships, and the date at the top will change. We will not retroactively apply a weaker policy to information gathered under a stronger one.
